Easy to use and refill. Stays lit even in wind, like it says it will. Easy to fit in your pocket.Well crafted classy looking and easy to use. Fits nicely in my pocketsBought this lighter for its looks but was really impressed once it arrived with just how nice it really was. The build quality is great! It comes with tools for maintenance, is easy to fill and adjust and is an absolute pleasure to use. It feels solid in the hand without being too heavy to comfortably carry around and forget you even have on you in your pocket. It quite literally is the perfect daily carry lighter.I have a pretty extensive lighter collection (Zippos, IMCO, Corona Old Boy, etc.) and this little lighter has a nice solid weight, and like the IMCO fills easily, and has a good wick cap that reduces fuel evaporation. What makes this lighter stand out is the well machined flint/lock striker mechanism. If you look carefully at the side of the flint wheel you will see that notched set up on one side with a thin metal cam. This stepped locking along with the weighted thumb depression on the striker makes for a very smooth and consistant flint ignition with a great positive feel. The only thing you miss, compared to a IMCO, is the ability to light and pull out the ignited fuel camber as a stand alone candle or stand off igniter for camp fire tinder. But I feel the design aesthetic, and wonderful flint igniter build, make up for those minor shortcomings. Overall easily one of the top 5 trench lighters. Other folks have thought the extra little metal part supplied with the 2 extra O rings was a wick or flint wheel cleaner, it is actually a extra metal cam that meshes with the notched flint wheel. ?maybe this part this wears out? One final note, some reviewers have complained of fuel leakage, in my hands this has happened when I over saturated the cotton with lighter fluid, then when the unit heats up with initial use the heat and fuel expansion caused leaking even with the fuel chamber screw turned down very hard against the O ring. This resolves nicely after a few uses, and is not an issue if you are careful not to overfill the fuel tank.I really like this little lighter, so did my brother. I got him one as a gift as well. He uses it all the time. Perfect little lighter. It came fast & seems well made but the dn thing won't light because it would appear that the spring loaded arm is spaced too far from the striking wheel that spins over the flint cylinder. Unless you stick a kinfe of something to assist the arm to the teeth in the wheel it won't light :( maybe its just mine doing thisPurchased this lighter on a whim, basically. I collect antique lighters and this one seemed like a faithful reproduction and one I could carry around and not be heartbroken if I lost it or broke it. I've only had it for a few days, but I like it so far. Comes in a nice wooden box and also a cloth bag. I was pleasantly surprised by it coming with spare parts as well. I've been using it a lot over the past few days so we'll see how long the fuel lasts. Well made and seems durable.Only reason for 4 Stars is that it has a large logo stamped on it's one side which I did not notice when purchasing and I hate. I might try grinding it off. Not really the end of the world and it might be just me.Great lighter! Fun if someone needs a light and it'll spark a conversation.I was apprehensive about buying this lighter at 1st because of some of the negative reviews stating that the spring on the closure prematurely breaks. That’s why I gave it only 3 stars for durability, for now, will upgrade if product maintains it’s quality. As a collector of these types of lighters I thought at the very least, I’ll have spare parts. The lighter came with the spare parts and necessary tools to make the repair if the spring does break, all packaged nicely in a little wooden box. Previous comments have stated that you had to get a hold of the company to get the necessary replacement parts. BONUS! I work construction, it goes where I go. I have abused this lighter more than necessary to try and get the closure spring to break as described. Happy to report the lighter is still functioning as described. Fill lasts apprx a week with continuous use. Will update if and when the spring ever breaks. So far so good. I’m pleasantly surprised with this purchase, and firmly believe the manufacturer has taken the negative feed back and made the appropriate changes. We can’t expect a quality product every time we spend our money, but we can expect the company to provide the quality product you paid for, or at least try and make it right. Judging from the previous comments and the product I received, I would say this company is trying to make it right. That’s a rarity, give them a shot. At the very least you get a very cool lighter that makes quite a conversation piece. I pulled it out at a hockey game, outside while lighting a smoke. Before I knew it, I had a crowd asking me where I got it. It certainly helped that there was an older gentlemen there that said he hasn’t seen one of those since he was a kid. Again, very cool lighter at the least. This a great looking lighter - excellent quality materials + workmanship! It does however heat up, to the point of burning your fingers when you click it open - keep whatever you intend to 'light up' handy to avoid unnecessary burns/blisters - it's probably best for cigarettes, or at least suitable in situation s where you do not need to lower the flame, for example, a fire in a campfire pit - it will just singe your fingers, at the least! AM STILL SEARChing for a 'light' that will ignite campfires/stoves/candles withoutg incidentVery nice packaging and perfect for gifting. It has a very nice build quality and so far lights on ever strike with a smooth mechanical feel. Personally for me, I find it easier to use than my zippo. Especially when having to rotate the lighter in hand, to the correct orientation for lighting. Also in dark environments it is no problem to find the striker by feel alone. No more upside down opening attempts.I would say my zippo has an edge in extreme wind, but this performs very well especially with the wind shield raised.I'm pretty sure it has a little less fuel capacity, but the sealing on the wick closure seems quite positive and a much smaller air space for evaporation, So I'm expecting longer in between fills, time will tell as it is quite new to me.So overall I really like this lighter and would definitely recommend it as an effective lighter and conversation piece.Just received the light today and I got to say it’s what I expected and more lights really easily throws great sparks to light the fluid it’s got some weight to it compact great addition to the collection and I can see myself grabbing this light for my EDC over other lighters I have
